8/24-->9/2
What the heck kind of half credit class did I sign up for?? I have never used html and have always been absolutely terrified of the terminal. What a suprise of a first class assignment. This was one of the hardest things I have ever had to learn. When I finish this, I am going to buy myself a pint of ben and Jerrys in the emerson dinning hall. I can't bleive I learned how to code a website in a week. Below is a compilation of photos documenting my process setting up, and editing this website.
moment I cloned and it gave me an error
installed github
changing settings on github
After the installing of github and brackets, I thought I had completed the "hardest part" of the assingmnet... boy was I wrong.
moment I created my Hello world page and launched the website onto the web
navigating brackets and playing with the code
uploading images on code
error with image
resolved error with image!
error with text placement
resolved error with text
bracket loading issue
bracket loading issue resolved
getting assistance!
and more help
sometimes you need two TAs at once
When the code deleted and I thought I lost everything
figuring out why my page is glitching
resizing all my images
researching how to fix live feature
Overall I would like to give a huge thank you to the makerspace TAs. I think I spent over 10 hours getting assistance with uploading images, editing tabs, paragraphs, fixing my errors. From knowing absolutely NOTHING with coding and html, I feel very accomplished. My brain might feel like mush right now, and I was doubting my decision to take this course at points... but I think I can hold on!
